A three-eighths-inch partial height stiffener plate is offset and configured to serve as a shear plate where a perpendicular beam occurs per plan. The top of steel is located per plan, with a two-inch maximum dimension noted at the detail. A quarter-inch fillet weld connects the plate to the structural member.
