A structural steel bracing connection joining a 300 PFC brace member to a vertical column via a sixteen millimeter thick gusset plate. The gusset plate is welded to the column with a ten millimeter fillet weld and connects to the brace with a matching ten millimeter weld. Sixteen millimeter thick by seventy-five millimeter wide stabiliser plates are welded top and bottom to provide additional lateral restraint. A intersecting beam connects at the column workpoint per elevation.
