Two diagonal members intersect a horizontal structural chord at a common work point on grid. Internal stiffener plates match the thickness of the brace flanges on each side typical. A grid splice joins the chord segments with a three-eighths inch fillet weld typical on both sides. Complete joint penetration welds connect the diagonal members typical at the work point.
