A 3-1/2-inch by 7-1/4-inch laminated strand lumber member connects to a 3-1/2-inch by 11-7/8-inch parallel strand lumber cantilever. The connection utilizes an HUC48 hanger fastened with fourteen 10d nails to the parallel strand lumber and six 10d nails to the laminated strand lumber. Additional framing stability is provided by an A34 framing clip secured with eight 8d by 1-1/2-inch nails, and an A35 framing clip secured with twelve 8d by 1-1/2-inch nails. Roof sheathing bears continuously across the top of the members.
