A double angle brace consisting of L2x2x1/4 angles spaced at six feet on center connects to a four-inch by four-inch by quarter-inch weld plate secured to the bottom flange of a steel beam. The steel deck bears above the top flange of the beam with typical fillet welds indicated. A reference note directs the builder to another detail for the connection at the opposite end of the brace.
