A 150x100x6 rectangular hollow section column connects to a 250 parallel flange channel floor beam through a welded 10mm end plate. The column is welded with a 6mm fillet weld around the end plate and secured to the web of the 250PFC beam with four M20 bolts arranged in a 90mm by 210mm gauge pattern. Edge distances and bolt spacings are dimensioned explicitly on the web as 40mm and 105mm. The connection sits 160mm below the finished floor level.
