A steel column with a cap plate supports a steel beam, which features a web stiffener and a deck bearing angle welded with three-sixteenths inch fillet welds. An embed plate measuring one-half inch by twelve inches by one foot two inches is cast into the concrete wall, secured with four three-quarter inch diameter by five inch heavy stud anchors spaced at nine inches gauge at each column. An L3x3xone-quarter by zero foot eight inch long angle is attached at the column cap plate web stiffener. A reveal or recess of three-quarters inch maximum is provided at the exterior concrete face per architectural plans.
