A concrete stair is supported on grade with concrete fill over a compacted subgrade. The stair slab is reinforced with number three bars spaced at eighteen inches on center each way with a two-inch minimum concrete clearance. Dimensions indicate a five-inch minimum stair slab thickness, an eight-inch minimum footing width, and a three-inch minimum toe extension. Tread and riser dimensions and overall slab dimensions are coordinated per architectural drawings.
