A structural steel roof beam frames into a column sized per plan, topped with a one-half inch cap plate welded with a one-quarter inch fillet weld each side. The beam connection utilizes a shear tab sized per structural plans and referenced to detail 20/S5.51. Additional framing members occur as required per plan layout.
