A five-inch thick concrete slab on grade is reinforced with number four bars spaced at eighteen inches on center each way and centered in the slab. A fifteen mil minimum vapor barrier rests directly beneath the slab over a layer of clean crushed gravel and a prepared subgrade constructed per geotechnical recommendations.
