A sprinkler main riser penetrates a continuous concrete footing with a concrete fill and sonotube blockout, maintaining a two-inch minimum clearance all around unless noted otherwise. A cold joint separates the footing from the wall above, with dimensions verified in the field or against fire sprinkler drawings. Reinforcing steel consists of two number five bars at four feet zero inches in length, adjacent to a precast panel and grid alignment. The finished grade is indicated at the farside with specific minimum and maximum clearance depths.
