A wide flange beam connects to a gravity connection on studs and beams, supplemented by an angle brace where required by beam depth. A drift track connection allows for vertical building deflection and seismic drifts as noted on the structural general notes, positioned approximately six inches above the ceiling line. A horizontal drift joint in the skin occurs at the window head for additional movement allowance.
