An elevator guide rail support connects to the underside of a steel beam via structural angle clips measuring six by four by five-sixteenths inches by five inches on each side. A three-quarter-inch through bolt in a two-inch vertical slotted hole with double nuts secures the assembly. The hollow structural section guide rail support column aligns directly below the steel beam supporting the deck attachment above.
