A metal deck sheet bears on a steel beam sized per the framing plan, with pins installed at equal spacings across the flange as specified in the schedule on sheet S-3.1. Verco VSC punch side lap connections secure the overlapping edges of the thirty-six inch wide metal deck sheets at thirty-six inch intervals. Pins fasten the deck directly to the supporting steel beam across the span.
