Steel tube stair stringers frame into a steel tube beam at a floor landing consisting of concrete over steel deck. A one-quarter-inch thick steel closure plate caps the end of the stringer, welded with typical complete joint penetration welds. An infill steel tube beam spans between the stringers. An L3x3x1/4 angle of required length provides additional connection support at the underside of the landing slab.
