A stair landing angle connects to a structural steel stringer using a WT6x11 by 0-foot 8-inch knife plate welded with typical three-sixteenths inch fillet welds. A guardrail post with top rail, infill, and enclosure extends upward from the assembly. A one-quarter inch cap plate closes the bottom of the enclosure. Maximum dimensions and clearances are coordinated per architectural requirements.
