Reinforced concrete beam intersections and corners feature top and bottom beam bars with ninety-degree standard hooks extending one foot six inches typically into the support. Number five dowels are provided at the intersection and corner as shown for both top and bottom steel. The corner configuration includes an alternative note permitting dowels to be omitted provided the beam bars are bent one foot six inches minimum.
