A vertical buffer tank mounts to a concrete housekeeping pad via floor anchors secured to the pad. The tank features an internal baffle, top-mounted lifting lugs, and a one-half-inch coupling with plug at the top and bottom drain. Inlet and outlet piping assemblies incorporate typical butterfly valves, thermometers, and a bypass valve spanning the main lines. One-half-inch couplings with plugs are provided for instrumentation and maintenance access.
