Cold-formed steel framing members connect to a wide-flange structural steel beam using continuous angles and self-tapping screws. The continuous 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 68-mil angle attaches to the underside of the wide-flange beam flange with a 1/8-inch fillet weld at the heel and toe. The cold-formed steel joists, sized per section, frame into the assembly and connect via 362T150-54 track sections secured with number 10 screws at each leg. Four number 10 screws attach the joist web to the connection assembly at each joist location.
