A reinforced concrete pier foundation supports a site light pole secured by anchor bolts and leveling nuts per the manufacturer requirements. The cylindrical concrete pier features a three-foot diameter, a three-quarter-inch chamfer at the top edge, and a one-inch minimum grout space under the light pole base plate with a smooth sloped finish. Vertical reinforcement consists of nine number seven bars tied with number three ties at twelve inches on center horizontally, supplemented by three number three ties within the top five inches of the base. An electrical conduit enters the pier below finish grade, which sits thirty inches above auto parking lots or fifty-four inches above truck courts. The embedment depth dimension H varies from four feet six inches to eight feet based on pole heights ranging from fifteen feet to forty feet.
