A cold-formed steel stud wall sits atop a structural steel beam, with the bottom track secured to the top flange using two powder-actuated fasteners spaced at 16 inches on center. A metal deck bears adjacent to the beam, connected per sheet specifications and tied in with a bent plate made from 12-gauge steel measuring 6 inches by 2 inches, fastened with powder-actuated fasteners at 8 inches on center. The cold-formed steel stud wall is sheathed with Sureboard and secured with specified edge screwing.
