A concrete wall construction joint connects a first pour and a second pour using a keyed interface. The joint features a twelve-inch long key spaced at twenty-four inches, with two rows of keys required where the wall thickness exceeds sixteen inches. Typical horizontal wall reinforcement continues across the joint. The surface must be cleaned prior to placing concrete.
