Embedded diamond dowel pocket formers are cast into the concrete slab edge to create a slot for the dowel. The pocket formers are positioned at a six-inch minimum spacing from the corner with additional spacing per plan. Stud anchors secure the formers into the concrete. A reference callout directs to detail 4 on sheet S501 for further coordination.
