This wall section details the connection between finished wood framing and a structural channel, sized per plan. Continuous 2x6 wood blocking is fitted within the channel and ripped as required, with blocking connections detailed on a separate sheet reference. Framing members are secured using two number 10 stainless steel wood screws, toe-screwed and countersunk by drilling from above.
