Roof screen girts connect to a vertical structural steel column using standard angle clips and an extended cap plate. The girt framing is supported by L6x4x1/2 long-leg-horizontal angles attached with seven-eighths-inch diameter A325 bolts. An extended cap plate tops the column to secure the upper members. All connections are fully bolted typical details.
