An elevator rail support tube is welded with a quarter-inch fillet weld to an L8x6x1/2 by one-foot-four-inch structural steel angle. The angle is anchored into the top of a concrete footing or slab using two three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch headed studs spaced at ten inches on center in alternate directions.
