A concrete equipment pad is installed over a structural slab. The assembly features a concrete pad poured over styrofoam fill with a minimum compressive strength equal to twenty psi. Reinforcing consists of number four bars at twelve inches on center each way centered in the slab, tied with number four dowels at twelve inches typically at curbs. Curbs are spaced at eight feet zero inches each way typically, with a four inch embedment into the structural slab.
