An eight-inch concrete masonry unit wall is fully supported at the base with vertical reinforcing placed according to the non-load bearing wall reinforcement schedule. Horizontal reinforcement features hooks sized and spaced to match the horizontal reinforcing schedule. The end of the wall gap is filled with firestop or waterproofing material per the architectural drawings.
