A concrete slab is cast over an acoustic mat and a plywood layer, reinforced with welded wire reinforcement. The assembly bears on a continuous 4x4x5/16 inch steel angle connected with half-inch diameter anchors at twelve inches on center with four inches minimum embedment. The continuous angle supports a two-inch dowel laminated timber floor element.
