The stair stringer is supported by a structural angle measuring 3x3x5/16 inches by 6 inches long, welded to the base assembly with a quarter-inch fillet weld. This connection is anchored into a thickened concrete slab-on-grade and concrete footing using a three-quarter-inch diameter expansion bolt, with footing dimensions sized per plan and schedule.
