A helical pile shaft with typical welded helices is embedded into in-situ soil and extends upward into a new concrete foundation. The top of the pile features a compression plate and a pile cap plate, anchored by a pile reinforcement cage embedded one foot into the bottom of the foundation element. Grout encasement surrounds the upper portion of the pile shaft. Head and tip elevations define the overall pile length.
