A square base plate is secured with four three-quarter-inch diameter by one-foot three-inch embedded heavy-hex anchor bolts unless noted otherwise. A six-inch minimum square blockout surrounds the base plate, with a Sonitube cardboard form permitted as an alternative. A one-and-one-half-inch typical clearance is maintained around the plate assembly.
