A metal deck bears a minimum of two inches onto a structural steel beam supporting a veneer wall with a five-eighths-inch clear space. Dry-pack grout fills the low flutes below the veneer. An angle section L3x3x3/8 connects the assembly, welded with one-quarter-inch fillet welds at two feet six inches spacing.
