This diagram specifies the loading and installation constraints for hangers attached to 20 gauge Type B metal deck. Hangers are limited to a maximum load of 40 pounds each. A minimum spacing of 1 foot is required between adjacent hangers. The installation must ensure that there are no supports at the flute on either side of the anchor. Cellular deck is used where specified.
