A steel girder bears onto a joist bearing angle consisting of an L6x6x3/8 measuring zero feet eight inches long with two half-inch stiffener plates welded with typical quarter-inch fillet welds. This assembly sits atop a half-inch by 28-inch by 14-inch embed plate anchored into the concrete tilt-up panel with eight three-quarter-inch diameter by five-inch head stud anchors. A three-eighths-inch by six-inch steel plate of required length is connected using a three-quarter-inch diameter A325 bolt placed in a long slotted hole parallel to the tilt-up panel, allowing for movement at the panel joint. Five-sixteenths and three-sixteenths fillet welds secure the plates and structural components together.
