A steel embed plate measuring 1/2 inch by 12 inches by 1 foot 0 inches is cast flush into a concrete wall per plan. The plate is anchored with four 1/2-inch diameter by 6-inch welded headed studs. Additional reinforcing steel consists of two number 4 bars by 48 inches each way for a total of four bars positioned around the plate. The elevator rail and connection assembly are provided by others with a 2-inch clearance.
