A thickened slab on grade is centered beneath a stair stringer with a one-foot depth and a one-foot six-inch flat bottom dimension. The assembly is reinforced with three continuous number five bars at the bottom and number four bars spaced at twelve inches on center. The stair stringer and its connection to the slab are bidder designed, with exact locations referenced on architectural drawings. Sub-slab preparation is provided beneath the thickened concrete profile.
