Cold-formed steel studs anchor to a bottom track matching the width and gauge of the wall framing, fastened with number ten sheet metal screws at each flange to each stud. The track bears on a concrete slab-on-grade or a raised curb with an optional cold joint. The curb configuration includes a continuous number four rebar curb bar and number three dowels at eighteen inches on center, fastened to the slab-on-grade with Simpson Set-3G or Hilti HIT-RE 500 epoxy with a three-inch embedment. One-by-two nailers are placed on each side typically for six-inch or wider curbs only.
