Top of wall termination assembly for a reinforced concrete shear wall. Wall vertical reinforcing bars run up the height of the wall and terminate with standard hooks or T-heads. U-bars match the size and spacing of the wall vertical rebar and tie into the top of the assembly. A specified lap length is maintained between the vertical rebar and the U-bars. Shear wall and overall rebar sizing are coordinated per plans and elevations.
