This structural steel detail shows a hollow structural section beam connected to another hollow structural section member using L3x3x3/8 angle clips on each side. The angles are welded with typical quarter-inch fillet welds. An erection bolt is provided as required for temporary alignment. Clearances of three-quarters of an inch maximum and one inch maximum are specified for the joint assembly.
