Stair tread framing connects to channel stringers using a quarter-inch thick plate secured with one three-quarter-inch diameter machine bolt. The channel members, including C4 and C8 profiles, are sized per plan and connected with three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds. Finish requirements for the treads are also designated to be sized per plan.
