A buckling restrained brace connection frames into a wide-flange beam with gusset plates and stiffeners configured per the manufacturer's specifications. The assembly incorporates wide-flange framing members, intermediate stiffener plates as required by the brace manufacturer, and gusset plates welded to the beam. Concrete fill over metal deck is detailed where it occurs above the beam flange. A beam in the perpendicular direction connects per drawing 18/S6.1.
