This structural plan detail shows a precast concrete wall panel corner connection reinforced with embedded steel plates and welded anchors. The corner assembly utilizes a 1/2" x 8" x 1'-4" plate with three #6 reinforcing bars at 6 inches on center, combined with a 1/2" x 5" x 1'-4" plate and a 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 1'-1" plate embedded in the concrete. Welded connections utilize 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch fillet welds as indicated. The joint space includes welded wire reinforcement (4x4-W2.1xW2.1 WWF) and is specified to be grouted after welding.
