A structural steel and light-gauge framing connection situated at the underside of an elevated concrete slab. A vertical structural column receives a full-height stiffener configured per plan specifications, while a horizontal steel beam bears beneath the slab edge. Cold-formed steel studs with one-inch deflection heads are installed vertically, with the track discontinued at the brace location. A diagonal brace member connects into a box-out assembly and framing elements as indicated in the structural drawing set.
