A steel tube hanger and a diagonal steel tube brace connect to a steel tube beam via a three-eighths-inch gusset plate welded to a two-inch-by-one-half-inch steel base plate. A one-quarter-inch closure plate caps the end of the steel tube beam. Fillet welds secure the structural steel components with specified sizes indicated by fractional callouts.
