Galvanized hollow structural section top and bottom girts frame into a central galvanized hollow structural section column. Each girt features a one-quarter-inch end plate welded to its end, which is connected to the column flange with a three-sixteenths-inch typical fillet weld. A cap plate tops the column, and the column galvanizing is specified to extend below the roof deck. Girt sizes and exact placement are sized per plan.
