Three configurations of double stud connections join cold-formed steel framing. The backed welded assembly joins double studs placed back to back. The backed screw attached configuration fastens back to back double studs using two number 10 screws spaced at twenty-four inches on center, positioned two inches on each side of the center line. The boxed welded assembly connects face to face double studs into a closed box shape.
