This assembly utilizes a C-shape track section inserted inside the abutting cold-formed steel C-shapes to create a structural splice. The internal track must be of the same thickness in mils or greater than the primary members. The connection is secured with a specified number of number 10 screws through the web or flanges at each side of the splice. The total splice length X and the specific screw count N are determined per the requirements of detail 10.
