An electrical conduit is suspended from the structure above by a half-inch diameter threaded hanger rod and secured with a standard pipe clamp. Unistrut P1000 channel braces are attached to the clamp assembly using Unistrut P1843W hinges on both sides, oriented at a maximum angle of forty-five degrees for seismic restraint. The vertical hanger rod requires stiffening per detail 3/S790, and the upper rod connection to the structure is detailed separately.
