A continuous track is anchored to the existing concrete slab using .180-inch diameter power-driven shot pins spaced at sixteen inches on center per ESR-1799 or an approved equal. The partition wall stud is seated into the track and attached at each flange with number eight screws, with stud sizing specified per detail 1A. Gypsum board finishes are applied to both sides of the framing and attached to the track, with exact finishes coordinated with the architectural drawings. A note specifies using a minimum 18 gauge bottom track for full height walls.
